About letthebots.in

A personal project, not a company

I'm Aditya. I work on SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). Let The Bots In is something I built on nights and weekends, not a product with a company behind it.

Why it exists

Every GEO tool I found either buried the useful part behind a paywall, or told you a score without explaining why. A number without a reason attached is useless. You can't fix what you don't understand. So I built the checker I actually wanted: paste a URL, get every signal AI crawlers care about, and get the exact fix for each one, free, with nothing held back.

What it checks

Six categories, the same ones detailed on the homepage: access (can crawlers reach you at all), readability, structured data, authority and entity signals, extractability, and freshness and hygiene. Under the hood it fetches your robots.txt, requests your page with real AI crawler user agents, parses your structured data, checks Wikidata for entity presence, and reads Common Crawl's public archives for your capture history.

How it's built

Astro on Cloudflare Pages, with Cloudflare Workers for the API routes and Workers KV for the small amount of state the tool does keep (monitoring watches and newsletter subscribers, nothing about the sites you scan). No database, no third-party analytics, no cookies. Scans run fresh every time and are never persisted.

What's free, and why it stays that way

Everything. The score, the full diagnosis, the copy-paste fixes, the competitive comparison. There's no pricing page and no plan to add one. This isn't a business. It's a tool I wanted to exist. If you find it useful, the newsletter signup in the footer is the only ask.
